You should have your teeth checked and cleaned every six months. However if you are experiencing excessive tartar and plaque buildup you may benefit from more frequent cleanings. The average visit lasts about 45 minutes and consists of the following 4 steps:

• Scaling: remove plaque and tartar from all tooth surfaces
• Polish: the finishing touch to clean the surface of your teeth
• Dental Exam
• Set of X-Rays: Dr. Gashinsky uses the latest x-ray technology that is very fast and emits only minimum radiation levels
